The Jacobs Family's existence in the Wildwood, Sumter County, Florida area spans a known period of at least 170 years. The family's genealogy can accurately be traced back to Mike Jacobs, Sr.
In the late 1800's, Mike Sr's offspring received a 160 acre parcel of land, under the Federal Homestead Ruling. On July 3-4, 1976 Mike Sr's descendants held the First Annual Jacobs Family Reunion on the original family homestead, which by then consisted of only 23 acres. Our family has continued this annual homecoming every year since 1976!
Over the years, a total of 5 generations of Jacobs Family Members have enjoyed this annual event.

Spending time and having fun with one another, while also creating lifetime memories with family and friends is what we love doing most! It is our ongoing mission to identify and connect with family members worldwide and to encourage them to fellowship with us to the extent possible. In recent years, social media has aided us in achieving those goals.
